REQUEST MAINTENANCE

Please contact us for diesel generator maintenance. Our technicians will help your machine last longer.

DURING REGULAR MAINTENANCE OF DIESEL GENERATORS FOR EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY, USUALLY:

  • Oil and oil and fuel filters are changed once a year unless the engine manufacturer indicates a specific oil brand and a 2-year change interval.
  • Coolant is changed at intervals of two years, or five years if so-called “long life” coolant intended for such an interval is used. The reason for changing the coolant is that the coolant of equipment in hot reserve loses its anti-corrosion properties.
  • The battery is replaced after five years because by that time the battery has lost a lot of its capacity. If the temperature in the room is high and the diesel generator is not operational, you can deduct one year from the battery replacement interval for each 5 °C that exceeds 20 °C.

Valve adjustment and other engine-related maintenance are engine-based and depend on the manufacturer’s instructions.

It is said that 95% of failures to start are caused by the battery, and 95% of problems can be solved over the phone. Do not be hesitant to use your contacts with the supplier of the diesel generator, as the supplier is generally always ready to advise you on how to proceed.
